This is ok for low volume applications like nail guns. Larger ID hoses are better for paint spraying or inflation use. If you're only going to own one hose go with 3/8"

DEFINITELY go with a 3/8" hose. There are some times a 1/4" hose works fine, but why limit yourself? Just get a 3/8" which works for pretty much any job so you'll never have to worry if the airflow is sufficient for any home tools in the future.

In for one to go with the $99 craftsman compressor deal I got in on.

Worth noting that amazon has the 50' version at $17.83 when you click the coupon. https://a.co/d/0ifl1tBl

This is a good price. Lowes says this is a polyurethane hose - very nice for a nail gun when you want it to stay out of the way.

Whereas, normally I prefer the hybrid hoses. This deal was too good to pass.

Had several of these that dry rotted and failed after a year or two of very limited use. Would recommend avoiding.
