This Gourmia 8 quart digital air fryer is best understood as a roomy countertop fryer with a window and light that can handle everyday snacks and small pizzas. It cooks well for the size, and the Costco return policy makes exchanges straightforward if needed. The main drawbacks are a finicky basket and track, slow preheating, and a window that can become hard to use once oily foods splatter. The crisper tray coating and plastic smell also come up, so it feels like a practical pick if you can live with some quirks.
The air fryer can cook cookies and small pizzas effectively for everyday use.
Costco exchanges and returns can be handled without hassles when problems arise.
Silicone liners with raised nubs can help maintain airflow while giving fat and grease a place to drain.
Using silicone mats and air-fryer paper liners can reduce tray mess and simplify cleanup.
The window visibility can become useless because the tall basket covers it during cooking.
The crisper tray coating can degrade quickly, which can affect taste after cleaning.
The door and engagement mechanism can fail to heat properly unless the basket or door is positioned just right.
Excess smoke can trigger fire alarms, which can make indoor use inconvenient.
