Citizen's Tsuyosa Sport Luxury in orange is drawing praise as a sharp-looking automatic that feels like a standout in the collection and punches above its price. The newer revision is described as worth the money, with a strong wrist presence and a wide range of colorways if orange is not the fit. The main knocks are the bulky, heavy feel, an only okay bracelet, and an obvious cyclops that may bother some. Jomashop pricing and warranty terms also matter here, since only the movement is covered and returns can carry a fee.
Collectors who want a colorful everyday automatic, because it looks great on the wrist and comes in many dial colorways.
Yes, it is described as a solid price, and the model reportedly jumped up about a year ago and has not returned to this level for a while. Similar Tsuyosa colorways have also been bought around this price point.
It wears on the bulky, heavy side, especially compared with slimmer watches like the Tissot PRX. If you prefer a lighter feel, that weight may stand out; if you do not mind it, the watch still looks great on wrist.
Jomashop's warranty coverage is reportedly limited to the movement only, not the full watch. That matters if you want protection for the case, bracelet, or cosmetic issues.
The bracelet is described as just okay, and the integrated lugs make replacement bracelets harder to source. The crown can also be awkward to operate with bigger hands, though it tucks away neatly when not in use.
Yes, it has a very obvious cyclops over the date window. That can be a deal-breaker if you dislike magnification bubbles, but it is a defining part of the watch's look.
I own the yellow dial version of this watch, I paid significantly more and I still consider it worth the money. This is a newer revision of the watch. The bracelet is just ok, and the integrated lugs makes getting a replacement harder. But it looks great on the wrist, punches way above it's price point. Crown can be hard to operate if you have bigger hands,, but it also disappears when you don't need it, so it's an acceptable trade-off for most people (me included).
This does have a very obvious cyclops, which can be a deal breaker for a lot of people, but I like it.
How's jomashop customer service? Last time I bought a seiko on sale and it arrived all scratched up, I didn't bother to make a fuss due to the price but should've in hindsight
I don't have any experience with them either, but notoriously terrible according to Reddit. Read many instances when they were in the wrong (shipped damaged watch, wrong color, etc) and they refused to accept a return till they were threatened with a credit card chargeback. And even then they wanted to charge the buyer for the return shipping.
I have this in green and while at first I really liked it, after I got my hands on a Tissot PRX and titanium modded my gshock, these feel extremely bulky and heavy. It's still great if you don't mind the weight.

Returns to Jomashop are $14.95; you have to use their shipping label. At least that was the price last year, not sure if it's different now.
They sent me a watch that was missing about half the removable bracelet links. Clearly a return that someone had stolen parts from. Customer service claimed the watch was as described, despite my pics to the contrary. Case closed. Pay the $14.95 to return it, or be satisfied with it as-is.
I've read mostly good things about them, but my experience was not great.

The FTC and your credit card company has some pretty explicit guidelines around mail order purchases and what not. If you order A and they ship you not A (whether it be B, C, D or A missing parts) they need to sort it out on their dime; they didn't send you what you ordered. Their customer service might say case closed, but your credit card company will not. Nowadays I can do it from my credit card app with minimal hassle too. Too many chargebacks and they start paying more for credit card processing fees. So when someone tries that with me (a marked up return fee for shipping me the wrong item) I just say send me a prepaid label or I'm filing a chargeback and going from there... Usually they do, and if they don't, I'll die on that hill (I have their stuff and the credit card company gives me my money back, so the incentive for me to jump through hoops has dropped).
