There are about 15 different types of satin and polyester is one of the types so yes this is satin. Don't listen to people who have no clue what they are talking about. Great deal ordered a set.

I tried some satin sheets one time. I had to get up in the middle of the night and change sheets. They didn't breathe at all. I ended up using them for a paint drop-cloth.
