These warmers use "GU10" light bulbs that I have never heard of. They are 50W halogen and the product listings I have found say they have 3000 hour life spans (so 125 days). If you plan on using for 8 hours daily in theory they should last a year and cost around $25.
I gave to my spouse for the recent holiday (along with other gifts) and they were pleased.
