    I bought mine in "open box" condition during Prime Day last year for $306 since Amazon applied an add'l 30% off at checkout which is why I feel the current sale price is arbitrary.

    Sheesh, keep your brain focused dude. You're wandering all over the place. For productivity (like, not living out violent fantasies in video games), the 9900x is a substantially faster CPU than everything you mentioned.

    Meantime, note that this is yet another 9900x thread about Amazon sellers of the exact same ASIN. Mods are refusing to police this because for the first time ever at SD, they think that every single "Other Sellers" price from any generic merchant qualifies as a "different" listing at Amazon.
