This is a large 18 outlet surge protector with four USB ports that fits well for setups with lots of low wattage gear. The outlet count works for electronics benches and other multi device stations, and the USB section adds convenient charging without needing extra adapters. The main drawback is the tight outlet spacing, which can leave bulky plugs unusable unless you add short extenders. There is also concern about pushing high wattage loads through it, so it makes more sense for lighter duty use.
Common Questions (3)
Yes. The outlet spacing is close enough that many bulky plugs or power bricks can make some receptacles unusable, so the strip's large size may not translate into full practical capacity. Short outlet extenders or short power-cable extenders can help make the blocked outlets usable.
It can handle many low-wattage devices at once, but high-draw combinations can overload the receptacle, trip a breaker, or overheat the strip. It is better suited to small loads like chargers, LEDs, and electronics workbench gear than to multiple heaters or other heavy appliances.
A white version is available with a 20-foot cable for $18.99, which is a better fit if the outlet is far away. The black 6-foot version is the standard option in this deal.

The bottom with the USB ports though is NOT simple. Break that open and it looks like a small computer.
USB ports convert AC electricity to DC, so you need a rectifier. Then you need a switching controller to step the voltage down, then you need a transformer to provide isolation and voltage conversion, you need a circuit board to provide stable regulation at 5V and you need another chip to handle the USB "negotiation".
yeah the price on these circuits have become cheap, but getting higher amperage requires more advanced (expensive) circuitry. Additionally, you start experiencing switching losses and having serious issues with cooling.
That's why it's "cheap" to have 18 outlet strips, but expensive to have more USB
