With the Ninja Creami, you will need to freeze the mixture overnight before you serve it. This one has a built in compressor which will make the ice cream/drinks without needing to freeze beforehand.

Costco rating is at 4.1, it seems to be very polarizing with a lot of people loving it and a lot hating it. I guess if you hate it you can just return it.
