Every new form factor light that comes along is interesting, but for me if it doesn't have a 4-5k high CRI emitter I'm just never going to use it.
This one does. Not ultra bright but plenty. Looks like a big upgrade from the popular Wuben light with similar form factor. Actually has some heat sinking on the emitter. I'll give it a try, thanks!

plastic body, horrible ui with unnecessary features. I'll stick with my wuben g5 for the same price.

Wurkkos does a great job compared to the "O" branded lights YMMV
I was considering the OLIGHT Oclip Pro for similar price and features... would you recommend this one over that?

I like my Boruit lights which are many times half this price & more lumens/features:

The V20 was only $14 last year when I was first introduced to the brand.

Ditto. 4000K, CRI 90+ suits me just fine. 😇

I like Wurkkos lights and own several. I do wish that they had this in a metal case option.

Living in a city that loses power for 4 days at a time, at least once a year, I grab these whenever they are on sale.

May 29th to June 11th delivery for black. Kinda puts a damper on that impulse buying, when we are becoming accustomed to 1-2 day delivery.

I'll share a comment I posted recently on Reddit:

I've seen some comparisons with the Wuben G5 in the comments. While they are very similar I like both the HD04 and the G5.

The all metal casing of the G5 is thinner and slightly shorter than the plastic body of the HD04. The G5's form factor makes it easy to slide into a pocket or tight space in a carry bag. The HD04 clip makes it bulkier but I like having the clip so it's a reasonable trade-off. The lighting capabilities of the HD04 are more robust. The HD04 oddly does not have a cover or any protection for the USBC port. I have the black version of the HD04 and I must say it looks pretty dope when glowed up.

They are both super fidgety 😄

I have the Oclip Pro and I would give this wurkkos a try based on the multiple lighting position of the head.

None of these pivoting ones have a replaceable battery though right?
