Anyone have experience with this and the Dewalt gyroscopic? Which is better?

I have the dewalt gyro and use it almost daily, but haven't used this Milwaukee. As a certified Milwaukee fanboy, I will posit that the Dewalt gyroscopic one is better between the two. It's just so nice in the hand and the gyro function is very intuitive. Plus it has a lot more torque than you'd expect.

I've owned this tool for many years and recently bought a 2nd one. Yes, it's probably 10-15 years old at this point, but works very well for most applications where you need a power screwdriver. I'm sure the M4 platform is going away in favor of TTI / Milwaukee's USB platform, but the batteries are solid and the tool works well and is very reliable. I have several older Panasonic models that this is based off of (in terms of design) and they all still work great as well. This will not replace a drill driver and is meant for light duty work. The clutch settings work well and despite the length its still very practical for automotive/household/light construction work.

Love my Milwaukee tools but I didn't want to pay the premium for this one which appears to be a metabo in red plastic. I've had the metabo for a few years and it works great for half the price. https://a.co/d/0fVW32zg

Stay away from this. Stick to the Dewalt gyro screwdriver.

I have both and the Dewalt is better. The gyroscopic feature is just awesome. The Milwaukee is a bit thinner and is solid. Dewalt hands down but they stopped making them.

Amazes me this tool still demands such a high price. It's been around forever although now has the lithium batteries. I have the similar Dewalt that been out of production for at least a decade or longer. Unfortunately it was using NiCad batteries so if I have to keep a battery on the charger or the screwdriver will be dead when I pick it up to use.

There's a deal for a Kobalt 4v for $20. Is the Milwaukee $100 better than the Kobalt?

Was it this tool from Milwaukee? I'm only asking because I've only seen the Hitachi, now Metabo HPT, version of this tool. I didn't realize anyone else made one like this with a chuck. (I'm not counting Ryobi because of the lower performance and less granular options on the chuck.)

I've never used this particular driver, but what in the world justifies the cost here? I love Milwaukee tools, but this seems insanely expensive and unnecessarily complicated to me - I don't think I would use an electric driver on anything sensitive enough to justify a clutch.

I've had this Skil 4V screwdriver for years:

It's been totally capable of anything I've thrown at it. Granted, it doesn't come with a Milwaukee bit set (and I will sing praises all day for Milwaukee bits), but I can't imagine spending so much for this type of tool, especially regular price!

Somebody enlighten me, I'm happy to be wrong.

The gyroscope dewalt got discontinued. The current dewalt screwdriver doesn't have the gyroscope function plus the battery is fixed. I have both the Milwaukee and the newest dewalt. I think they're both good, but the Milwaukee does have 2 speeds and I think has more torque and rpm than the dewalt.the dewalt is not as long, but doesn't fold the handle. I think they're dewalt is 80-90 something bucks. The only true downside I find with the Milwaukee is the lack of LEDs, but this tool hasn't been updated in a very long time whereas the dewalt does have some LEDs.

fellas, the Dewalt GYROSCOPE GOT DISCONTINUED. As good as it was idk why dewalt chose to can it. The newest one does not have the gyroscope function nor does it have a trigger. I watched some reviews on these and the best screwdriver with the most torque was a makita one that's pretty expensive. The Milwaukee was second and the gyroscope dewalt was third(irrelevant here since it's no longer for sale lol). The Milwaukee is good, just lacks LEDs.

the Kobalt is trash, dont get it. I have the Kobalt, various Craftsman, Skil, Ryobi, and DeWalt, Kobalt is the worst out of all of them.
