Community Reviews
This Milwaukee M4 hex screwdriver is a light duty power screwdriver that stands out for reliable long term use, solid batteries, and a clutch that works well for automotive, household, light construction, aerospace, and electronics work. The tool is described as practical in hand, with two speeds and more torque and rpm than expected, and the included Milwaukee bits get strong praise. The main knocks are the high price, the aging M4 platform, and the lack of LEDs. It is a capable specialty driver, but the value depends on how much you need this format.
Buyers who prefer a gyroscopic screwdriver with strong hand feel, because the gyroscopic control is intuitive and the tool delivers more torque than expected.
Electronics and aerospace technicians repeatedly removing and replacing screws, because it has enough torque for constant screw work and avoids wrist twisting.
Homeowners and light-construction users needing a compact power screwdriver, because the clutch works well and it stays practical for automotive, household, and light-duty tasks.
People who want a long-lasting 4V screwdriver for everyday light-duty jobs, because it still works reliably after many years and the batteries remain solid.
Shoppers comparing against cheaper 4V screwdrivers, because this platform is seen as overpriced for the performance it delivers.
Users who want built-in task lighting, because this tool lacks LEDs.
Tradespeople needing a drill driver, because this is a light-duty screwdriver and will not replace a drill driver.
Buyers expecting the latest battery platform, because the M4 line is viewed as a dead platform with older cells and little development.

I've had this Skil 4V screwdriver for years:

It's been totally capable of anything I've thrown at it. Granted, it doesn't come with a Milwaukee bit set (and I will sing praises all day for Milwaukee bits), but I can't imagine spending so much for this type of tool, especially regular price!
Somebody enlighten me, I'm happy to be wrong.
