This is an okay deal (actually $10 cheaper on Amazon right now, though). However, if you use the Craftsman power tool ecosystem and you want a beefy impact that's capable of breaking loose lug nuts/bolts, you really need the CMCF940, which will handle that all day long.

Is Craftsman the brand that Sears used to sell. If so, is the quality even the same as it was back then?

I purchased several of these and distributed among some mechanic friends... this tool is a total disappointment compared to the previous C3 model. get a brushless tool from any brand but this one will let you down in how weak it is to remove slightly stubborn nuts or just in general. most have already failed in less than 2 years of use. get ryobi or rigid 600ft torque brushless units. this purchase was a waste of money and i had to apologize to the other people... even free as a gift this is not worth it.

Agreed. Ryobi Big Daddy is on sale at Direct Tool Factory Outlet. Blemished are new. Only the package is Blemished. You pay a little more but you got a lot more than what you paid for.
