Good as a casual easy to use gopro that essentially has both sunglasses and Shokz headphones built in. A bit better waterproof and grip and id have no complaints for outdoor sports (the Oakley version essentially is what i want but theyre ugly and expensive)

The AI stuff is pretty useless and not a reason to purchase

Just know if you purchase you will get shade from literally everyone in the world who seems to want these to fail. Popular opinion is it's a spy camera with AI brain rot built in

People will rightfully treat you as a pervert for wearing these pervert glasses. The stuff they record is reviewed by actual people - not AI - and often includes private details that implies that these are recording even when the owner seems unaware.

keep in mind the videos are vertical. I have the gen2, and i was pretty disappointed in the quality and non-horizontal video.
I'm not sure where this 3k is coming from. The resolution might be high, but it's just bad quality.

If you are trying to capture the precious time with your kids, try out the cheaper ones, if they can do horizontal videos.
I did not know this when I purchased it. Maybe, wait for Gen3.
