Heads up -- most cars alternators aren't supposed to be running full-tilt. Yes, they're great for topping off a battery and running whatever electrical the car actually needs to operate. But all these extra gadgets and gizmos? It's putting more and more strain on the alternator -- which unless you replace the stock one for a beefed up version designed for such abuse, you'll soon find out why you shouldn't be running a small electronics store inside your car.

Now, there's nothing wrong with a mobile telephone or a dash cam running -- it's negligible. But 227w+ of power draw? No. Not quite the same.
