They've only been used indoors and have held up great. I rarely sharpen them with the built in sharpener, but I did need to flatten one side after an in-law used them to cut something hard (everybody denies using them, so they must have magically gotten a huge divot from moving to my new house after sitting in a drawer at my parents for 13 years). Whatever, a few minutes on one of my cheapo diamond stones brought it back to life.
