Community Reviews

Marmot's sitewide sale is strongest for outdoor clothing and tents, with the discount now showing automatically at checkout and free shipping available through Marmot Rewards sign in. The gear itself gets praise for durability, including jackets that still look nearly new after more than ten years and Tungsten tents that have handled hundreds of nights, set up easily, and stay dry with routine waterproofing. The main drawback is pricing volatility, since the earlier code no longer works and several items reportedly jumped mid sale. A solid option if the current price still beats recent history.

Common Questions (5)

  • No code is required on the sale page; the discount appears to apply automatically at checkout. The earlier EARLY 25 code was for early access and no longer works.

    minntwinsMighty1minntwinscedelson

  • Free shipping may require signing in to a Marmot Rewards account. The sale discount can still show without a code, but shipping benefits may depend on being logged in.

    minntwins

  • Yes, the discount can already be applied even when it does not appear in the cart at first. The checkout page may show the reduced price after the cart initially looks unchanged.

    Purpeana

  • Checkout can be buggy: items may disappear from the cart during the checkout flow. If that happens, reloading or re-adding items may be necessary before completing the order.

    Mighty1

  • The Tungsten tents can hold up very well over long-term use, with one 2P tent still nearly mint after about 300 nights. They include a repair kit, are easy to set up, and a yearly waterproofing spray can help keep them dry in severe storms.

That's an understatement. I've had the same light jacket for over ten years, and it's still practically new. Ditto for my down-filled, heavy jacket.

Some good deals, but when I don't see a discount in the cart when checking out. Are the prices displayed include the discount already?

NVM, I see the discount already applied.

I have four of the Tungsten tents for my family of scouts- three 2p, one 3p. I have somewhere around 300 nights in my 2p version and its still nearly mint condition with the exception of one male pole end is starting to oval out the receiving side (they DO include a repair kit with the tent which can reinforce the ovaling end to get a few more years out of it). Very well built tents if you take care of them and super easy to set up, which is why I keep buying them. I put a can of waterproofing spray on it once a year and I'm dry through the worst of the worst storms we've hiked through.
I wish Marmot still made the UL 1P Tungsten. With this sale I'd buy it right now and it'd drop my pack weight by nearly 3lbs vs carrying the trusty old 2p.

are you all seeing an extra 25% more in cart off the already posted price reduction on item page?
Its just showing the marked down price in final checkout page for me and not 25% more off the sale prcing shown.

Great deal. I was able to replace my old Marmot down vest that was shedding down at over 2/3 of the listed price, plus free shipping.
