Good Price if the thing wasn't headed towards full lockdown by amazon, if not already.

I prefer walmart's onn stick over this.

The end result of Amazon's product is they are transitioning to their own operating system, Vegas a Linux based O/S. The bottom line is Amazon Fire TV products will be under the full unbreakable control. An environment similar to Roku TV. It's worthy of note Google has mentioned they intend to more of less lock down Google TV based products (ONN is under the current Google TV umbrella). Google has yet to make any serious moves outside of Google Play for now. That is the current state of affairs with Amazon's Fire products. It's worth mentioning that what Amazon's vision of the profitability of Fire TV. Amazon's supplied and allowed programming still works quite well. If you are just looking for what Amazon wants to offer, reports are the new Vegas operating system performs better some sources have reported. According to Amazon's releases that was their intention, a better platform for exclusively for their offerings. Take it for what that is worth.

Not for this one bub. It runs vega os. Only the max and select still run android and Amazon is blacklisting many sigs so ymmv. So if you don't side load then this is ok. Unfortunately I use tizentube so I need side load and because of Amazon foolishness onn are oos everywhere and the raised prices on all of them because why not.
