Right off the bat, this deal requires you talk to customer service!! Second, you MUST see what appears to be two clickable coupon options on the listing. I've uploaded an image to see what it would look like for you. One is an upgrade discount (-$30) for owning an older Fire Stick that is registered under your name associated with your Amazon account. The other is a promo code discount 'SAVEMAX' for another $30 off. When you go to checkout after clicking both coupons you will see a $30 promo applied to your order but this other $30 discount will not stack (assuming the 'SAVEMAX' code doesn't stack here).
You will have to talk with customer service to inquire that you see two coupon options but one is not working (ask their AI assistant to take you to customer service chat). They might ask you for screenshots to upload and the link to said item as I have provided in this post as an example. You'll probably want to use your own screenshot with your own name attached as to appear genuine that you see two coupons for you but both are not working together.
In my case, they couldn't resolve the discount immediately so they asked me to order the item anyways while they attach a "note" to my account about a future $30 promo code/credit (they've also used the word 'refund'). They asked me to reach out to them again after the order arrived and would resolve the issue finally from there. Didn't take much work from there as they didn't ask for further proof, though I did save screenshots of the previous chatlog. Just fyi, the chatlog will disappear once you acknowledge your issue has been resolved. They ended up giving me a refund for the total remainder of my order which was around $33 without returning the item as either a gift card or original payment option.
If you ask me, they wouldn't mind giving these things away as it's probably a bigger return for them to harvest your data from you, while using their devices. With that being said it's highly recommended to turn off as much data sharing options once you get it, or if you at least have one in your possession.
