Great deal. Just be mindful that this PSU is longer than your typical unit. Also, the connectors are on the side, not back

-VERY- serious lack of quality control at Corsair for a flagship PSU. The HX1000I shift unit I received had the 3 out of the 4 SATA/PATA connectors soldered on upside down making them unusable. The one rotated 90 degrees is correct while the 3 flat side by side ones are upside down. I popped the clip off on one of the PATA cables to prove my point in the pictures. Can't install it properly with the proper way, other picture the is the cable installed upside down. -SMH-

I used one of the 750s yesterday. I paid $70. I think it's a cool concept. Not sure how to feel about the tiny inputs going into the psu. I'm also not sure if all Corsair power supplies are like that as it's the first time I've ever used one. It's an A tier rated power supply.
