I'd say mid June is the latest for most zones down to 5, if they're the size as indicated in that stock photo.

How is tomatoes at 5 dollars a piece considered a sale???? Especially this late in the season? Maybe it's a regional thing because in South GA 4 dollars a piece for tomatoes is average price.

Locally they are $1.75 each, but I guess they are expensive to ship.

I used to work for a farm in southern zone 5 and they would plant tomatoes as late as early July. You need 90 days from your frost date.

Because Bonnie plants is co-owned by Scott's, the same company that owns MiracleGrow. If you can, buy plants from a local gardener or nursery. I just bought two 4-packs of tomatoes for $3.49 each from a local hardware store.

Everything about buying live plants from Amazon seems wrong. Are counterfeit tomato plants a thing?

These are like 4 for $10 at Home Depot and you can pick the ones that look viable. So many seedlings there are waterlogged, crushed, etc. I'd hate to see how they arrive from Amazon.
