The Deco 7 Pro BE63 is a tri band WiFi 7 mesh system that stands out for strong whole home coverage, solid stability, and easy setup. It has been rock solid for several homes, with wireless backhaul coming online quickly and wired backhaul freeing up bandwidth even more. Several setups replaced older Orbi or Asus systems and delivered better coverage or faster speeds, and the app adds useful features. The main cautions are that some devices needed security setting tweaks, and wired backhaul is the safer path for the most reliable performance.
The Deco 7 Pro can deliver rock-solid performance after setup, with some users describing it as stable for months or years.
The system can improve overall coverage and speeds versus older WiFi 5 Orbi setups for non-gaming use.
Wireless backhaul can come online quickly, with setup reportedly working within about 15 minutes for at least one buyer.
The tri-band design can reduce wireless contention by dedicating more bandwidth for device traffic instead of sharing one band for backhaul and clients.
The units can be used as individual routers, which can help when deploying one node at a separate location.
FCC-related restrictions may affect future software updates in the US starting March 2027, even if existing products continue receiving support.
Wireless backhaul performance can be slightly disappointing for download speeds compared with a previous WiFi 5 Orbi mesh system.
Wireless mesh linking can feel weak for some setups, and tri-band may be needed for more reliable wireless backhaul.
Some devices may connect on 5-6 GHz through walls and create lower-speed spots, requiring placement changes or band-steering tweaks.

that said, asus routers are among the most secure routers (CISA data) and come with lifetime free subs for commercial grade malware protection that usually make their deals slicker.
Even more funny is they claim to hate China and yet they're building Chinese data centers in dark red states. Our city council approved one here though citizens strongly opposed it.
The argument is data theft and yet they're building a surveillance state. Once I saw what a flock camera was once, I notice them everywhere here. Using "protect the children" age verification as a cover to erase internet anonymity. It's pretty insane and I'm no conspiracy theorist. My guess is they'll approve any network device with a back door for Uncle Sam.
