I decided to give this a try and ended up receiving mine in mint condition as described. The backplate, VRM heatsink and NVMe heatsink still had their factory plastic covers installed. Not a single blemish on the board. All accessories were in the box untouched sealed in their packages. The box was a bit bent in one of the corners and the top cardboard part that's supposed to be protecting the board was missing, but they put a bubble cushion on top to protect the board for shipping. Overall for 200 dollars shipped this was a heck of a deal, but definitely a gamble that could've potentially backfired on me. Hope the standard Asus warranty still applies.

Beware. Bought 3 open-box like new from Amazon and they are all piece of sh*t, dead on arrival. Either socket pin is bent, or does not boot. Ended up going to Microcenter and get a new board

Caution, "Like New" from Amazon ain't what it use to be. And they are becoming more strict on their refund process. I bought this board from them in "Like New" status for $206 earlier this month and I saw through the plastic wrap that it came without the cpu cover. I immediately closed the box and sent it back and they charged me $20 in return fees (likely charging ME for the missing cpu cover.)
