I didn't think anything was 100% cotton anymore.
Nowadays they just throw a small percentage along with mostly POLYESTER !!!

Actual review for those who don't want to click:
When I purchased this blanket, I had just begun dating my ex-partner Mary. It was the beginning of winter, and I wanted a nice blanket I could sleep under, or one that Mary and I could drag to the couch and wrap ourselves in for movie night.
As the winter wore on, our relationship began to splinter. We began to notice contrasting differences in opinion about bigger issues as the initial glow and excitement of the honeymoon period began to wear off. Bickering turned to arguments turned to completely ignoring each other for several days at a time. I'd wake up in the morning, hopeful for an olive branch in text form from Mary, only to see no notifications but for my morning alarm to get up to go to work.
Every morning I'd follow the same routine; wash my face, pick the numerous pieces of teal blanket lint from my hair, brush my teeth, find a few more pieces of blanket link on my body as well as my hair again, and then pick the pieces of link from the blanket from every single piece of clothing I planned on wearing that day.
I'd go to work, and my co worker, almost daily, would reach up to my hair and remove a rogue piece of lint while I nuzzled a cup of coffee before diving into that morning's tasks, like clockwork.
I thought about the blanket. I thought about Mary. And that's when I realized that the blanket had been a metaphor for our relationship that no longer brought me the joy it used to. Mary and I broke up shortly there after, and after numerous washes, dozens of lint roller sheets expended trying to get rid of the evidence that the blanket I have at home is absolute garbage, I decided to also call it quits with the blanket as well.
I threw it in the trash.
I have photos of wonderful memories that I shared with Mary that I'll come across on my phone every now and again and I look back at our time together fondly. At the same time, I will be picking lint out of my clothing, my rugs, and finding tiny hunks of it under my furniture until the last breath leaves my body and am long forgotten.
Don't be like me. Be kind to yourself and buy another blanket.
