You can look at my posts, I generally like the 80v Greenworks/Kobalt tools. I have the Greenworks version of this, and it is - pathetic. I have clay soil, and it's only good as a surface weeder in that, even when I've amended it with 50% compost. Plus with the battery it's a little heavy as a weeder. I can hoe faster. The wheels are nice, but get in the way of weeding close to your plants.
My raised bed soil, which only retains 1/5-1/3 of the clay will work well in this, but again its not any better than a hoe, even in a best use context. Plus the right hoe lets you weed closer to your plants. The Sun Joe corded electric tiller they had on sale at Wal-Mart about 4-5 years ago (all of the items I mention here have been SDs) and it could handle amended clay 8-12 inches deep. If the soil is to dry, the Sun Joe will buck pretty hard, I wish it had wheels for that.
