the adhesive is usually fairly good, just make sure you clean the case really good before putting it on. Once it's on it usually stays.

I've had the locking ones and they are ok. I recently got this one and it's amazing. It's silicone but it covers and holds the lid and folds at the top so it actually makes it waterproof. Cheap and it's not bulky. I will always use one like this from now on, a couple of colors are only $10:
