I had one similar to this and the solar for the camera never really worked well, especially in the winter. The feeder didn't hold much seed - gone in an hour or so. Also, I think all of the birds in the neighborhood chose it as their personal toilet as it was a real mess to clean every day. :-(

I bought a similar one and it's decent for the price, the solar panel keeps it fully charged (haven't tested it in winter) and the camera is surprisingly good. Just keep in mind that the AI bird identifier is a trial and requires subscription after (you still get notifications after trial ends).

10% of reviews are 1 star. Here is one: UDATE: The camera filled up with water during a rainstorm. It only lasted less than two months! I tried drying it out. It didn't help. It's dead! It could haven been so nice if they had only sent the antenna to block the hole (which I had already covered because I was afraid of this). Or if they had some kind of protection from the elements for the camera. I got it the middle of November. It was dead by the first part of December. Do not recommend!
