Thanks for posting this OP!

... heads up, if you just get the roku channel on say your google tv or a TV with amazon's firestick type thing built in, as I found out the hard way just installing the roku app on your TV does not work as far as taking advantage of these offers (on the other hand if your TV already has the roku interface built in not a problem .. on that particular TV. In my case although the offers worked fine on the "I use roku anyways as a built in streaming service" TV, on the google TV it just flat out didn't work without an add-on roku device see below).

Having said that the cheap-ish roku device I bought on sale for $25 last November's black friday (4K streaming version of the stick paired with a $7 hdmi extender cable to reduce heat by positioning it further away from the TV, came with a power brick to plug into your surge protector to reduce electrial drain on the TV) works great if you're okay with 1080 resolution like I am (can't speak to say 4K resolution because I'm too cheap to get that kind of a TV ) ... and it paid for itself with the three free months of apple TV they were offering at the time alone (well that and the cost savings of cancelling Netflix for three months ) .. otherwise

Obviously this only helps if you are an anime fan but crunchyroll is absolutely worth the $2 a month for a few months and even if you don't normally watch anime I would argue for $2 maybe give it a try for at least one month ... some anime suggestions for people who haven't watched anime before to see if it's the thing for you

frieren journey's end .. if you like this after seeing episode one (a lot of people do, stick with it through episodes two and three to really give it a chance) binge it from start to finish within those 2 months totally worth it

Witchwatch.. adorably cute and funny

My Hero Academia.. super popular, coming of age story combined with superheroes (and of course supervillians) roaming the world, the protagonists are teenage heroes at the hero academy for up and coming heroes. This is one you'd want to stick with past the first few episodes (lot of protagonist bawling his eyes out which turns off some viewers but again stick with it) and it will grow on you to the point where you become hooked on it.

dandadan .. okay some people will look at the first (and future) episodes and groan about, um, "fan service" and I wouldn't blame you (not so bad that say you'd be horrified if your child walked into the room but I can see say female viewers rolling their eyes about it with good reason) .. having said that I found the two main characters to be sweet and adorable and it's fun watching the way things develop between the two of them, grandma is freaking hilarious and a fantastic character herself and the show is bonkers fun in an over the top way

apothecary diaries .. the protagonist alone is worth it for her dry wit and how she knows she's smarter than everyone else but the rest of the cast is fun to watch too

Re: Zero - Starting Life in Another World .. interesting premise and well executed again can't say more without spoiling it

Vivy: Fluorite Eye's Song .. can't say much without spoiling it but I enjoyed it

Attack on Titan.. this series is dark.. very, very dark you'll see why starting from the first episode... but extremely popular

EVERY single one of those channels is maybe worth the 2 month deal that's being offered. NONE of them are worth what they regularly charge, which is what they're going to hit you with after the 2 month taste.

I personally find the selection disappointing. And while I've enjoyed Apple TV+ in the past, their failure to offer new content on a regular basis doesn't equate with the fee. This appears to be a trend with many channels. As a long time Roku user, Tubi is free and offers more, though their ad interruptions have dramatically increased; you get what you pay for, LOL

Two months is more than enough to watch the handful of decent stuff on there.

Got a year of Apple TV included with Chase Sapphire Reserve.

I couldn't find anything I really was interested in watching.
