I have this. Maybe used once. Only good if your tv speakers blew. No base. Not worth the money at all.

They do make compatible subwoofers for this speaker bar... 🤷 ♂️

With others saying it has no bass, I wonder what the 2 "full range" drivers offer, or is it a complete misrepresentation?

Yes, it's a complete misrepresentation. A more polite term would be, "a steaming load of sales and marketing BS."

You'd be better off using a Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 set than this hunk of junk.

I used to use an older Klipsch like that for my TV set up. Quite literally the best you can get when it's on sale for ~$100.

This, mainly because it has a separate "subwoofer" https://a.co/d/06u7rXQV

But again, the Klipsch Pro Media 2.1 would give you not only a better subwoofer but more genuine stereo separation due to having two separate speakers. I would get the Samsung soundbar/sub only if WAF absolutely precludes getting the Klipsch.

Bose used to be a standard but now seems very mid range as an option. I bought a smaller Bose sound bar from Costco and was very disappointed in the lack of maximum volume and bass.

Meh, Bose has always been nothing more than a marketing-driven company. It's notorious for having sued Consumer Reports in the 1970s for an unfavorable review of one of its products. Who does that??? Certainly not a company whose motto claims, "Better sound through research." They spend more on mass advertising than all their competitors put together...and sadly, that strategy pays rich dividends with the ever-clueless consumer public.

The only thing Bose has ever made that WAS ahead of everyone else was its active noise canceling headphones. Everything else is just overpriced mediocre junk inspiring countless ditties such as "No highs no lows it must be Bose."
