Source: I bought one. I'm very happy with it so far, especially the battery life: it gets by with one charge per week, though I keep the automatic O2 sat check off. It may not be the most accurate, but it's good enough for what I need and the build quality is impressive, especially for the price.
Amazfit Bip 6 (Via the Zepp App)
The Amazfit Bip 6 relies on the robust Training Template builder inside the Zepp app. This feature allows you to build highly personalized, step-by-step routines, particularly for strength training or complex circuits:
- You can select from a massive database of specific exercises (including specialized movements like resistance band or isolation work).
- You can manually define target reps, weights, and explicit set structures.
- You can configure detailed rest intervals (e.g., locking a specific rest time or programming the watch to wait until your heart rate drops to a specific target, like 120 BPM, before signaling the next set).
- These templates support massive complexity (up to 40 sets or intervals) and sync directly to the watch to actively prompt you through your routine.
CMF by Nothing Watch 3 Pro (Via the Nothing X App)The CMF Watch 3 Pro is much more basic and locked-down when it comes to workout customization. It lacks a general step-by-step routine or circuit builder. Its "custom" capabilities are limited to a couple of distinct features:
- Custom Running Coach: This is a structured wizard specifically for running (3K, 5K, or 10K targets). It auto-generates an 8-to-16-week calendar of structured running sessions (intervals, tempo runs, steady-state) based on a fitness assessment, but you cannot manually program your own custom non-running exercises or circuits into it.
- Workout Menu Customization: The custom layout features are limited to editing your "Regular Exercises" quick-list (reordering or adding/removing from the watch's 131 tracking modes) or adjusting which metrics display on the screen while an active workout is tracking.
If your daily routine relies heavily on complex, self-guided strength or interval templates where you need the watch to actively pace you through specific sets and rest cues, the CMF Watch 3 Pro will fall short compared to the Amazfit Bip 6.The original post sounds like a conspiracy theory nut TBH
If i'm in insurance, ofc i would want as much data as i could.
Seems like that may be better option but I haven't worn a watch for a decade.

I'm pretty sure they aren't doing this on an individual bases and more a demographic statically analysis. It wouldn't be cost efficient to monitor people individually.
