Saw is ok for quick cuts but limited to basic operations. Couldn't cut a 3" base board miter upright from the right side due to motor clearance. Cutting miter upside down from left side results in tear out at top. Zero clearance throat and sacrificial fence to pull piece out further may have worked but I just grabbed a different saw. Ended up using this one to cut aluminum fry reglet channel. It can definitely be handy but if you want a "versatile all arounder" I would recommend something else.

Just my experience mixed with my opinion.
