The Archer BE700 is a WiFi 7 router aimed at fast wireless performance and mesh use, with strong real world speed gains for streaming and remote desktop. The browser interface exposes the full feature set after setup, and it can work in mesh setups, though Deco uses different mesh software and does not integrate cleanly. The port layout draws criticism because the 10 gigabit WAN is paired with only one gigabit LAN and three 2.5 gigabit ports. Setup also leans on the TP Link Tether app for some features, which is a drawback for anyone wanting full web based management.
The Archer BE700 can be used in a mesh setup with compatible networking.
The router can be tuned effectively after reading instructions, and performance can feel strong.
The port configuration includes multiple 2.5GbE LAN options alongside a 10Gb WAN, which can support faster local connectivity.
The BE700 is described as top-rated by RTINGS in its Wi‑Fi router review coverage.
Integration with a TP-Link Deco 7 Pro BE63 mesh system may not work easily because Deco uses different mesh software.
Some network features appear to be locked behind the TP-Link Tether mobile app.
The lack of a web interface for managing features can force phone-app based configuration for complex tasks.
Firmware update access may be a concern if the router is tied to Chinese spyware, so avoidance is recommended.
