Target Circle 360 is mainly useful for the included Shipt marketplace access and the free month promo, with the barcode in the Target app working for activation. Auto renew can be turned off in the app settings, and the free month has been shown to work even after a recent lapse in membership. The main drawbacks are that existing annual subscriptions block the offer, the freebies feel thin, and free shipping still requires a $35 spend. A handy trial if the included perks fit your shopping habits.
Common Questions (4)
Open the Target app and tap the barcode search icon in the search area, then scan the provided barcode. After the scan is complete, the app itself is not needed.
It does not work with an active annual membership because the app detects the existing subscription and fails. It can still work after a subscription has expired.
Tap the three dots or settings gear in Circle Benefits, then disable auto-renewal. The free month can still run normally after turning it off.
The main value is access to the Shipt marketplace without an added markup. The offer also includes two months of member freebies, though the freebies themselves may be underwhelming.
