They write nicely. However, they tend to get an ink buildup at the tip that you have to wipe off.

The best pens for consistent writing. Also at work I write on hanging clipboards a lot and they always write well. And they don't have any of the issues of other brands. Like air bubbles in the ink and drying out.

Note, this is the 1mm version, which lays a pretty thick line down and takes longer to dry. As much as I love Pilot, these pens are not left-hand friendly.
