Just received my Moto Pad and I now own both the Metro's tablets - Moto Pad 2026 and Samsung Galaxy A9+ 4GB/64GB.

IMHO, even at $50 more, the moto pad 2026 is the better value. It comes with 8GB RAM vs the Samsung's 4GB, plus an 11-inch 2.5K screen that's sharper than the Tab A9+ 5G's display. Both have the same 7040mAh battery and quad speakers, but Motorola adds Dolby Atmos. Not to mention, Moto also has double the storage from 64Gb in Samsung to 128GB in Moto.

To be fair, Samsung does have some software extras like Multi-active Windows and Samsung Kids, but for straight-up media and browsing, the moto pad beats it. If you mostly watch YouTube, read, and do light multitasking, the extra RAM and screen quality make the Motorola the easy pick.

Cant disagree more. Especially comparing this Moto Pad 2026 with the Metro's Samsung Galaxy A9+ 4GB/64GB variant.

I wanted this but ended up getting the Samsung tab since this was out of stock. Can't be happier. Disabled/uninstalled a bunch of stuff and it serves my needs (for Netflix and Prime) well.

Guess I'll be signing up for another line to get the tablet if it's still in stock after I receive the phone.

Same processor as Moto G 2025 phone (phone only has 4GB RAM though). Not a fan. Hard to believe they put that in a tablet.

i got the moto pad 2 weeks ago, its a million times better than the samsung option. The screen alone makes it worth it. Really digging the moto pad so far

The free Samsung tablet is pretty bad, as bad as fire tablet.
