This is a good deal, but usually the better one is the Sam's Club deal with this Partybox and two microphones for $250. Of course, it's personal taste as to whether the two mics are worth the extra $50

This is the first gen. Only has six hours of run time on the battery. The second gen is currently $30 more on Amazon. It offers 15 hours of run time and Auracast. Def worth it.

I have both models. I probably didn't really have to upgrade, but that battery life in the older model sucked and for karaoke purposes the newer model is way better. Sound wise, older has deeper bass, newer model sounds cleaner, less bass hence better for vocals on karaoke.
