This Ryobi ONE plus HP pet stick vacuum stands out for stronger suction than the cheaper stick vacs and for using the same ONE plus batteries, which makes it handy if you already own the platform. The kit can also be configured with extra batteries, and the pet version includes both attachments. Long term, the vacuum handles heavy pet and remodeling use well, though battery drain is quick as expected for cordless models. The canister seal and wheels are cheap parts that may need attention, and one unit arrived with a very high pitched noise.

Common Questions (5)

  • This kit is described as including the vacuum, charger, and one 4.0 Ah battery, but the better bundle discussed adds an extra 4Ah and 2Ah battery. The extra batteries matter because this vacuum drains batteries fairly quickly, and having more ONE+ packs on hand is useful.

  • The main listing includes the vacuum attachments, while the alternate battery-focused bundle does not appear to list them. The included accessories are the dust brush and crevice tool, which can also be bought separately if needed.

  • The pet version has noticeably more suction than the cheaper Ryobi stick vacuums, and it handles heavy pet use well. It can still drain batteries quickly, and some units have cheap parts like the canister seal and wheels that may need attention.

  • Before adding to cart, open the "shop this offer" option under free gift with purchase, then select the vacuum as the free item. That flow shows the vacuum at $199 and lets you check out with it.

  • Ryobi's warranty is 3 years for both the vacuum and the batteries. Home Depot's standard return window is 90 days, or 1 year if purchased with a Home Depot credit card, as long as the original packaging and accessories are kept.

We got one recently from one of the deals and maybe it was a defect but the sound was terrible- super high pitched. Had to return it. Seems good otherwise.

We instead ordered this deal which would give 2 4 ah and 1 2 ah batteries along with free vacuum. Be sure to select shop this offer and add the vacuum as the free item. https://www.homedepot.com/p/RYOBI.../327848850

Before you add to cart, you will see the option shop this offer under free gift with purchase. Once you click the link you will see the vacuum for 199. Once you add that simply check out.

What does that give you different than this main deal? Batteries $99 and Vacuum $99 as opposed to batteries and vacuum together for $199.
It's different if you only want one of them - sure get your vacuum for $99 by returning/canceling the batteries.
I'm just not understanding

As they mentioned, it comes with an additional 4ah and 2ah battery. Only other difference is the main deal has vacuum attachments and the add on one doesn't seem to list it

Seems like a meh deal. This often comes with a 2, 4, and 6A battery for this price.

Is it just me or is the Home Depot app (at least for Android) incredibly slow? I've noticed this getting worse on the last few HD deals I've shopped. I've tried the web too, and it's a little better but seems much slower than major retailer's site should. Is anyone else experiencing this?

Not a good deal. Go for the deal that gives extra battery for the same cost:
https://slickdeals.net/f/19531569-ryobi-one-hp-18v-kit-w-2-4-0-ah-batteries-2-0-ah-battery-charger-one-hp-stick-vacuum-199

Unless you have too many batteries, then there have been cheaper deals for the vacuum plus hand vacuum on occasion:

Ryobi has a decent warranty policy, 3 years for the vacuum and the batteries also. Besides Home Depot's regular 90 days return policy if you bought it with a Home Depot credit card the return policy is extended to 1 year, must keep all original packaging and accessories.

Ah, thanks for clarifying. It was hard to tell what was different. It does seem like meaningful value if you don't need those accessories, but honestly it seems like it should definitely come with them even if they're not pictured in that particular listing.
