never mind. I found my regular battery just keeps dying, even though the charger says it's full. I guess I need the HP batteries with this.
Functionally it works great and I abuse the crap out of it between two shedding dogs, a wife and remodeling a house and it keeps running just fine. It does use batteries fairly quickly but all of these vacuums do, it's a huge advantage that I can use my other batteries in it. Between this and a robovac, we threw away our "real" vacuum.
tl;dr it has a few cheap parts but for the most part it works really well.
