It depends on what console you have. It runs poorly on Switch 1, but on Switch 2, it's locked at 30 FPS.

Yes, they must've. I paid the same $20 about a year ago for the digital version and they worked perfectly. Specifically, I played Vice City to the end--no performance issues.

Developers are too lazy these days to do anything right. The mobile ports are such low quality with bad graphics. What a shame. Best just to get the original consoles and play from there.

Did it require an online update before it was playable? Or could you play it without updating first?

I like to archive what I buy, and despite how some perceive performance on Switch 1 to be, it doesn't seem possible to make a backup of a Switch 2 title.

The way I see it is, it's a win if a Switch 1 title that runs even better on Switch 2 hardware.

Switch 1 means it's easy to make a personal backup— better performance on Switch 2 means even emulators should see a performance boost.
