As a dude, you CAN technically use this. It's a backpack.
However...it's specifically designed for a woman's body and curves. It's not gonna feel quite right compared to the mens equivalent.
As a man, unless it was something like 90% off and I didn't do serious hikes, I wouldn't ever bother with a women's specific pack. It's not just marketing. There is a difference.
