Uhg.. I waited and waited for this deal and got impatient. Got the Goaliath Prodigy for $499 after applying local kids sport coupon to $699 sale. Putting the system together was a breeze but holy Christ I would have paid double for professional install. 10 bags of concrete and an alphabet of swears later... The things we do for our kids.

To be clear - This deal is for assembly, not installation of concrete, and restricted to 35 miles of purchase. Still a decent deal on premium hoop.

I was told at the store it included everything. I even had to fill out a waiver online for them to be able to did in my yard. I also need to mark a 2x2 square in my yard where they will work.

Yes, I was emailed a waiver I needed to fill out for them to do the digging. I also need to paint a 2x2 square where they should dig. I guess after get pour the concrete, they come back out at least 3 days later and install the pole/hoop.

Exactly, that's what everybody does. I don't know what the need is for a big setup. I just had mine on the power pole

Was able to purchase this in-store with the free installation today. They should have a flyer/email with the details on how they need to put the order into the system. Installation details:

In-Ground Basketball Install Procedure
  • Mark a desired 2'x2' dig site with white paint, white stakes or white flags
  • AIT Worldwide Logistics will contact 811 to identify underground gas lines, water pipes, electricity lines, etc. This service only identifies public utilities and will not be able to locate private lines (sprinkler systems, invisible fence lines, garage door lines, etc).
  • After utilities have been marked, and a dig authorization number has been received, you will be contacted by AIT Worldwide Logistics to have your installation scheduled.
  • Your installation takes place in 2 Phases:
    • Phase 1 - Hole will be dug, filled with cement and anchor system set
    • Phase 2 - Installation of pole and backboard a minimum of 72 hours after Phase 1
  • Once complete and signed, the waiver will automatically be submitted to AIT Worldwide Logistics
If you have an existing Basketball System that needs to be ripped out and/or requires a concrete cut, additional charges will apply

I was told this included everything; what's not included is any sort of removal of soil, or previous hoop and concrete
