is this a good printer. I noticed that off brand ink doesn't sell well on ebay for other models of this brand.
I have an older version of these imageCLASS lasers that I got about a decade ago and it's still working. Wireless stopped functioning but the printer itself is still good via usb. I've been wanting to upgrade to a newer model but my workflow have become almost entirely digital, I'm not sure I can justify the utility even at this price point.

Haha felt compelled to post because my unit's WiFi died a couple days ago too (would print like one page after 5 minutes) and I temporarily resorted to bringing USB sticks containing my PDFs/docs over to the printer.
I got a cheap TP Link wifi extender, connected to switch, which then connected to the Canon unit's ethernet and some other legacy devices, then disabled the WiFi extension signal/broadcasts and now it works like Day 1.
