I bought this at the $40 price when it was available earlier. Be aware the drill is really, really weak. It couldn't remove screws from my septic lid which was just 2 14 ga aluminum plates. If you actually need a drill, I'd pass.

I think this is a good charger, battery, and bit set combo. The drill is a very meh drill. I wouldn't try to use it on anything serious as a driver or screw removal.

I've got some rental ski condos and I've been trying to put together a tool kit that I can take with me each time I go up (~2 hours away). I have a nicer Ryobi drill and impact driver already, which I could bring with me if I knew that I would be doing some work, but would the drill in this deal be decent enough that I could basic stuff at my condos? Or is it total junk? I'm seeing very negative things in the comments.

Great deal, especially because it's tool + charger + battery. Even though it's a basic drill driver, a 1.5ah battery + charger costs more than this.
