QM7k. It has more dimming zones and higher peak brightness. For $100 difference, It is worth it especially if you watch in a bright room.
Cost QM6k pro was $680. Not sure if that price comes back.
Very disappointed to see this only has 2 hdmi 2.1 ports, meaning not all 4 hdmi inputs are 2.1
You can get HDMI 2.1 switches for pretty cheap now.
Most devices do not need HDMI 2.1. unless you have a PC, Xbox, and playstation 5 in living room, you are probably okay?
I finally broke down on the Costco qm6k $680 deal after a year or two of wanting new tv.
Not disappointed in qm6k at all. It is plenty bright for a well lit living room. It looks amazing compared to my 4 year old direct lit sharp.
The qm7k seems to be better in about every way. So, if qm7k hits $800 to $900 in next 2 months, probably would tell Costco to come pick it back up qm6k. If it doesn't, not disappointed in least in step down model, so you probably won't be in qm7k UNLESS you already have a nice OLED tv.

For 2025/2026 high refresh rate tvs (120hz+) all the ports should be hdmi 2.1, future proof things, xbox ps5 switch 2 all use hdmi 2.1 and maybe the new apple tv will too. Crazy that tvs that support 120/144hz would only have 2 hdmi 2.1 ports imo.

ps5/xbox hitting 120hz is mostly a pipe dream though. PC is the only source to realistically hit that consistently.

A lot of ps5 games run 4k 120hz, even if upscaled (And even more so with the ps5 pro). In order to get the full experience you want a 4k 120hz tv with hdmi 2.1
It's very rare for all the ports to be 2.0 or higher.
It's not, high end LG mini-led models and all LG OLED models have hdmi 2.1 on all ports. If you're spending $1k+ on a tv you might as well future proof
