Ace is kind of like the convenience store for hardware and home improvement.Yes, there is a little bit of a premium but you can get in and out a lot more quickly usually. Depending on your area, they sometimes have more knowledgeable workers ready to help. I go when I want to get something that I know they will have. I can get in and out faster than the time it takes for me to park my car at Home Depot and make it to the front door.

Ace Hardware is a convenient neighborhood hardware stop that stands out for quick trips, helpful staff, clean stores, and hard to find items like certain fertilizer and yard products. The gift card discount can also stack with Ace Rewards, app coupons, and occasional sales, which helps on propane refills, EGO tools, grills, and other purchases. The main drawback is price, since Ace often runs above big box stores and coupons do not always beat sale pricing. A useful way to stretch a local Ace run.

  • Ace Rewards app coupons can be accessed through the Ace Rewards app for deal stacking.

  • Ace gift card discounts can be applied toward grills like a BGE or other grill purchases.

  • Ace stores can be convenient for quick hardware and home improvement trips with faster in-and-out shopping.

    mataku

  • Ace carries specific fertilizer and yard products that other stores do not stock.

    dgleisner

  • A $10 off $10 birthday coupon reportedly cannot be used on sale items and may leave prices higher after the coupon.

    jeremylh56

  • Ace coupons and deals reportedly do not provide savings and can leave purchases at regular price.

    zapppz

  • Ace gift card deals may require buying discounted gift cards and using additional rewards and coupons to beat other prices.

    HyrumBeck

  • Ace Hardware prices reportedly run 50-100% higher than Home Depot, limiting purchases to very cheap mid-project items.

Great deal on 15% off and agree with others much needed when shopping at Ace. They carry the fertilizer/yard products that I like and no one else does.

If you consider 50-100% above Home Depot a little... The ace near my house unfortunately is consistently on the high end of that scale. Only time I go there is if I'm in the middle of a project and need a very cheap item.

is the 1 per buyer a lifetime thing? I know I bought one a year or so ago, not sure if it's the same promotion. Though using the eGift Card it seemed like the employees had no idea and had to call a manager off their shift to figure it out.
