While true, that is in Japan only, with no option to ship stateside, fairly sure that doesn't even have English subs. Hopefully we get an English release with GKIDS in the near future.

They released the 4k IMAX remastered version in the theaters last year. Rewatching it brought tears to my eyes. Such an amazing classic. I still remember when it first came out, when animes are finally getting more popularity in the states at that time. These Ghibli films are so magical they bring your childhood back.

The Japanese Bluray releases always have had English subtitles. But GKIDS will release an American version later. As someone who watches all anime in the original language - you're missing a lot of the nuance and cultural references in English dub versions.
