I bought this almost a month ago before the white model went on sale for $60 and I bought that one and returned the black. It's definitely bigger than my old case. But, there's so much room inside to let your components breathe with tons of spots for fans if you want to go nuts. But my GPU runs a lot quieter now when playing games like God of War Ragnarok at 1440p on Ultra settings. I love the case.

This case was designed with gaming and cooling being the focus. It's mesh all the way around with 10 locations to mount fans depending on what sizes you get, iirc. I got one and my PC is much quieter now without the GPU fans having to work so hard to keep cool. So it's a great deal for certain applications. But yeah my old PC had a hot swap location for HDDs/SSDs in a drive bay, and this was a bit of a compromise that I wasn't excited about. But for that, I guess using external peripherals will do to get the benefits of the cooling that this case provides.
