This is a DC voltage battery, so to use it in your house you need to convert it to AC with an inverter.

Then, you can either just use it on its own panel and plug things into it when the power is out, or you can install a critical loads panel and transfer switch to switch your home over during an outage.

That's probably why the prices are going down. Government subsidized things always cost more. It's the same reason tuition keeps going up.

Wow, these things are still coming down in price. This is great. Just a few years ago this was the price for the 100ah server rack.

Is there some sort of attachment to make this a power station?
Signed up for a "free days" plan and would like to charge it up during those times.

You need an inverter/charger, can either be a combined unit or separate pieces. Probably the cheapest option overall would be something like an Ecoflow Delta 2 and a Wattcycle Wattlink cable to attach it to this battery (basically a modded cable that lets you attach any battery. But that would be limited to 1800W inverter usage, im not sure about charging speed to the external battery either. But if its a full free day then even 1kW/h would more than fill it.

Sorry, but how do I use this? Would I hook this up to my circuit breaker box? Looking to have it mostly to keep my fridge and standalone freezer running during outages in the summer

Are there residential automatic transfer switches to use with this so when there is an outage the transfer switch automatically switches to the battery backup?

However, 6 months ago you could get the 30% tax credit.

Just bought one for $1650+tax. Truck delivery took about 10 days door to door. I use it as a backup battery to "solar" charge my Jackery E2000v2 and Pecron F3000LFP with 2x EP3800 and noticed that judging by the BMS of each system that I needed about 5300 Wh to replenish about 2600 Wh on the power stations. Seems rather inefficient. Anyway, I'll keep an eye on it on future uses. If it keeps being inefficient as a "solar" input, I may just get an inverter for this battery and use it as a stand alone power station.
