This Switch 2 pick your game bundle is mainly attractive because it lets you choose a first party game for about $50 over console MSRP, which still lands below buying the pieces separately. The bundle gets even better when paired with discounted Nintendo eShop cards from Costco or other sources, with reported totals around $441 to $467 after tax and cash back. The main caveat is that better clearance or membership deals have existed at Sam's Club, Costco, and Woot, but those were limited, store dependent, or no longer available. A solid value if you can stack discounts or want a specific launch game.

  • The best alternative pricing appears tied to limited-time clearance or stock-dependent retailer deals that can sell out quickly.

  • Nintendo gift cards reportedly may not apply to the Switch 2 console bundle checkout even when they work for games.

  • The deal's value can be questioned because the screen upgrade pricing makes the overall package feel less discounted.

  • Buying multiple Switch 2 consoles at $500 each can be a financial stretch for families compared with earlier Switch pricing.

Nintendo says the price will increase, while they cut the production significantly since the demand is low.
isn't this the fastest selling console of all time? Demand would be extremely high if that is the case

I think you should be able to use Nintendo gift cards on the purchase. You can buy gift cards at Costco for 10% off so you can essentially get 10% off this price. Someone fact check me

It's cute you think an OLED Switch 2 would only be $600. 🤣
$40 bucks extra for a screen sell for $150 more then the $449 model? It's cute you think Nintendo is giving a good deal on that lol. $150 seems reasonable. Considering the last time they charged $50.

500 for a portable console is hard for many to swallow. 600 is even harder, LED panel or not.
Umm there is something called options. There is something called an OLED switch. Look it up.

Lots of self-hating redditors on this post. This is currently a good deal whether you like it or not especially considering the market conditions skyrocketing costs associated with video game consoles. Just cause you don't want to buy it doesn't mean it's a bad deal. Grow up and go touch grass.

Nintendo has said they are significantly lowering their estimated switch 2 sales this year. This isn't surprising

I seems odd to have prices of current systems go up. I get when a new system comes out it jumps the price point, but raising current systems...

Component prices are high, PS5 just raised their price not long ago. Investors have been pressuring Nintendo to do the same for a while now.

Not really a deal if it's at MSRP and available widely
