The Sennheiser RS 175 is a wireless TV and home listening headset that stands out for its charging dock, strong range, and solid positional audio for games and movies. The ear pads and headband cushions are replaceable, and the battery uses a standard AAA NiMH cell, which makes upkeep easier. Open box condition is the main risk here, with reports of immediate cancellations, missing boxes, and occasional missing accessories like the power adapter or audio cable. When the unit arrives complete, it can look and work like new.
Home theater listeners wanting wireless TV audio with a charging dock, because the headphones can be repaired with replaceable ear covers and a removable AAA NiMH battery.
Gamers who want positional cues in shooters, because the headphones can reveal enemy floor position across multiple buildings.
Listeners who plan to keep a wireless headset for years, because the headphones have survived hard impacts and kept working.
Shoppers who need an order to stay confirmed after checkout, because open-box orders can be canceled immediately after placing them.
Listeners sensitive to worn ear cushions, because the leather around the ear pads and headband can look badly aged.
Audiophiles prioritizing open-back soundstage, because the closed-back design can worsen sound quality.

In fact, you have to take the ear covers off to replace the battery inside, which is just a normal AAA nimh cell. So, this isn't like removing them from other headphones, it literally has a latch
