We bought house with a 1,500 gallon septic that wasn't treated for a while. Instead of pumping it out at the tune of nearly $2.5k, we tried this product first and happy to report, we had no issues with the tank. It seems to work really well. There is very little gradient between the house and the tank (maybe 5-8 degrees over a length of nearly 50 feet) which at the beginning was causing toilet back-ups and poor shower draining. Using one of these pillow packs once every two weeks for a few months now, we have not had any issues since. Will definitely keep using them.
